So I pulled out my most unusual pair of shoes. Ones that I love to wear. And yes, I leave the house in them. I like to think I am totally fashionable..........Even though I have a hippy friend. But I do know these shoes can be a little odd. I still think they are fashionable, but it could be the hippie air of my friend rubbing off on me.
So, feel free to set me straight and let me know if you think these are OH YES!!!!!! OR GAWD NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love my friend more than anything.........But seriously..................I am going to raise money to at least buy you the real Birkenstocks, because you deserve the REAL DEAL!! And we need to get those shoes off the street!
Oh, and you can be a hippy.......I love hippies.............I love gypsies...........Heck I even think homeless people look cool...........But none of them would wear those shoes!

Katie, I think her toe may have been involved in some sort of horrible accident and these are the shoes the Doctor is making her wear until her big toe heals. If they were orange they would look like the crossing guard uniform on a foot.
ttq - I think you're right, some sort of corrective shoe to ensure her big toe heals properly from the freak accident. In that case, I think its great that technology is so advanced that things like this are possible.

Hi there! I finally got my electric bill for the 3 months of service...and it was 109 and change. Not as horrible as I thought it would be for 3 months of service! Just wanted to let you know..
Also I'm not a fan of the shoes but if you like them, who cares what others think!
Unless you have some kind of funky old nasty fugus growing on your big toe, get rid of them.
On the other hand, the toe ring is definitely a keeper.
I think they are so cute! I have the cutest littlest feet and they make my feet look even smaller!
OK, maybe I need to rethink these shoes. And tonight I will post a picture of my big toe so you all don't worry that I will end up with gangrene and have to amputate. (not that it would matter... you wouldn't be able to see my big toe with these shoes anyway!)

about the owls. They are in style for fall and back in a big way. You can find all kinds of stuff with owls on them right now.
I think they are crunchy-chic (if that is a real thing!) and I would wear them if they are comfortable. There are times when a girl just needs to say "screw it" to fashion and go for comfort. If you wore fashionable shoes all the time, your feet would be all gnarled up by the time you were 40! I think they would look cute with capris or jeans. You DO have tiny feet!
Oh i am so doing that tonight...I NEVER throw away shoes...because I believe they will be 'cool vintage' one day... so I would have some shockers!!
And trust me...I will find a unique pair of flip flops - Aussie are known for the 'thongs'...
